Μέρι Ο’ Μάλεϊ (Ιρλανδία)
Γεννήθηκε το 1954 στα δυτικά της Ιρλανδίας. Έχει γράψει επτά βιβλία ποίησης. Είναι μέλος της Aosdana και έχει βραβευτεί με το Βραβείο Henessey και το Lawrence O’ Shaughnessey στην Αμερική. Περιβαλλοντολόγος ακτιβίστρια, διδάσκει σε μεταπτυχιακό επίπεδο στην Ισπανία και την Ιρλανδία. Περνά αρκετόν καιρό το χρόνο στο Ιρλανδικό Κολλέγιο στη Γαλλία. Έχει δυο παιδιά. Ζει στο Γκάλγουεϊ.
Mary O’ Malley (Ireland )
was born in the West of Ireland in 1954. She is the author of seven books of poetry. She is the a member of Aosdana and the recipient of a Henessey Award and the Lawrence O’ Shaughnessey Award in the US. She is active in environmental issues. She teaches at post graduate level in Ireland and Spain and spends time at the Irish College in Paris. She has two children, and lives near Galway.
