Fereydoun Faryad
Φερεΰντούν Φαριάντ (Ιράν)
Ο ποιητής και μεταφραστής Φερεΰντούν Φαριάντ γεννήθηκε στην Περσία. Ζει στην Ελλάδα. Στο Ιράν έχει εκδώσει ποιητικές συλλογές και μεταφράσεις ελλήνων ποιητών και έχει βραβευτεί με το Ελληνικό Κρατικό Βραβείο Μετάφρασης 2005 για το έργο του Γιάννη Ρίτσου. Ο ίδιος έχει μεταφραστεί σε πολλές γλώσσες.
Fereydoun Faryad (Iran)
Αn Iranian poet living in Athens, Greece. He has one book of poems available in English, Heaven without a Passport (Red Dragonfly Press, 2006). This poem was translated during the poet’s recent visit to the United States and is from a recently finished and unpublished trilogy of poems entitled The Sound of the First Stars Over the Rooftops.
