Dimitra Kolliakou
Δήμητρα Κολλιάκου (Ελλάδα)
Γεννήθηκε το 1968 στην Αθήνα. Δίδαξε για αρκετά χρόνια γλωσσολογία στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Newcastle. Aπό το 2010 εργάζεται στο Παρίσι. Έγραψε τα μυθιστορήματα Το Μαγείο (Εστία, 1999) και Θερμοκρασία δωματίου (εκδόσεις Πατάκη, 2006), τις ομόκεντρες νουβέλες Η αρρώστια των βουνών (εκδόσεις Πατάκη, 2009), καθώς και διηγήματα. Τιμήθηκε με το Βραβείο Πρωτοεμφανιζόμενου Συγγραφέα Jim Wilson από το Εκεβί το 2000, το Athens Prize for Literature του περιοδικού (δε)κατα το 2007, και το βραβείο μυθιστορήματος Πέτρου Χάρη της Ακαδημίας Αθηνών το 2008.

Born in Athens in 1968. For several years, she taught linguistics at Newcastle University. She has been working in Paris since 2010. She wrote the novels The magic hole (Hestia, 1999) and Room temperature (Patakis Publications, 2006), the concentric novellas Mountain Sickness (Patakis Publications, 2009), as well as short stories. She was awarded the Jim Wilson Prize for first time author by the National Book Centre of Greece in 2000, the Athens Prize for Literature in 2007, and the Academy of Athens (Petros Charis Foundation) award in 2008.
